Important Announcement Re: Guests this weekend

Based on the high numbers of members attending open swim, increased guest activity, and sunny warm weather in the forecast, we are temporarily rolling back the number of guests allowed per family this weekend. On both Saturday, July 24th and Sunday, July 25th we will permit two guests per family per visit. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep the pool safe and available for membership to enjoy.

July 22nd Update…

From the Manager
This past Sunday seemed very busy at the pool, almost pre-pandemic busy. The fantastic weather along with the expanded guest policy came together where indeed over half of the people at the pool mid-day were guests on what turned out to be a pretty crowded day. While the numbers were still way under our capacities, there was a bit of an uncomfortable feel, especially after operating with limitations over the last year and a half.

It was also evident that many of the guests visiting were not as practiced at keeping their distance on the deck or while in the pool as those in our membership have been doing. Additionally, many of the guests were unfamiliar with our pool rules as well.

As the season continues we’re hoping that the novelty of bringing guests to the pool will start to subside. In the meantime we will continue to monitor guest usage so that we have a clearer understanding of the impact and make adjustments to our guest policies if needed. We will also not be scheduling larger groups of guests during prime time hours from 2:30-5:30pm.

Finally we ask that if you are thinking of bringing any guest to the pool that they know and understand what the expectations are for distancing and masking. It would also be helpful if they know what our pool rules are as well.

Thank you!

Raab

Hey there, Hi there

Keeping this short this week and the main topic today is guests.

Beginning this Saturday, July 17th, we will be reverting to something similar to our pre-pandemic guest policy. What this means is that you will now be able to bring up to 5 people per family, per visit, without making a reservation. This total includes all guests in your party. So, for example if you already have 2 houseguests coming to the pool with you and you want to bring another 4, you will need to schedule that in advance.

In cases where you wish to bring a group larger than 5, from 6 up to 12, you’ll need to make a reservation in advance. We cap the total number of guests at 12. These larger group reservations are for 2 hours and we don’t double book so as not to impact the total numbers in the pool at any one time. You may only make one reservation at a time, and once you’ve used one you are then welcome to make another.

Please note if making a reservation for something like a party, the multi-purpose room upstairs will not be open this year. The BBQs and picnic tables will remain on a first come first served basis.

Now there are times when we may have member only days, and/or days when the weather might necessitate the suspension of guest privileges because of anticipated increased member pool usage. Those will be publicized in advance.

Our full guest policy can be found here.

  • Up to 5 guests – No reservation required

  • 6-12 guests – Reservation required – 2 hour limit

No Surprises
There have been a couple of instances already this season where the pool has been unusually busy on certain evenings during Adult Laps. We want to let you know in advance that if this does again happen that there may be the need to reduce the number of lanes to accommodate the larger number of people at open swim. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility with this effort to make the pool an enjoyable place for all.

Adult Meet?
I have no further information about an Adult Meet actually happening.

I Scream for Ice Cream
Don’t forget we have an ice cream social scheduled this Friday, July 16th. Put your favorite sweater on and come down and have an ice cream novelty from 7-9pm.

Home Meets and the Pool Schedule
We have a home meet next Thursday, July 22nd. The pool will be open only for Adult Laps from 1:15-3:15. The following week on Wednesday, July 28th we will be hosting the 13 and up Girls’ Prelim meet. The pool will be closed all day with the exception of early morning laps, aerobics, and lessons.

Water Polo
It’s looking like we may have enough interest in reviving our water polo program this year! Right now we have a solid contingent of 12 and 13 year-olds, but we would like to field a 15-18 team as well.

If you are over 12 and vaccinated, please put your info on the sign-up sheet  in the pool lobby ASAP!

The season will start the first week of August and Max Black and Ruby Brown are looking forward to bringing back the championship to WW!

See ya at the swimmin’ hole! -Raab

Half Way – No Way!

We have survived that incredible heat wave, and it appears, for at least the time being, that our more Seattle-like summer has returned. We are about to hit the half-way point of the season and every day that goes by seems just a bit more normal than the one before. The return of guests coupled with both the diving board and basketball hoop have been welcome additions.

If you aren’t familiar with our diving rules they are posted at the pool and/or you can take a look at them here. Also, something to be aware of is that while the hoop is back it is not always available. During family swim, Monday – Friday 5:30-7:00pm we will often take the hoop out to help maintain a more quiet and calm environment for families with small children. The hoop will not be available from 8-9pm Monday-Thursday during Adult Lap Swim as there is very limited pool space during this time. Other than that, as long as the pool doesn’t get too crowded, please feel free to come in and get your game on.

Ice Cream!

Feeling a little more social? Well we’re having an ice cream social on Friday, July 16th from 7-9pm. Come on down to the pool and enjoy an ice cream novelty.

Adult Meet?!

I’ve heard through the grapevine that there may actually be an Adult Meet this year on Saturday, July 24th and that it might be at Sheridan Beach. I will certainly share more details as/if they become available.

Water Polo?

We are at the point now where we need to figure out whether or not we have enough interest/commitment to proceed with our own water polo program this season. Now water polo won’t officially start until August, but if you are 12 or over, vaccinated, and looking to play, we would like you to put your name down on the sign-up sheet in the pool lobby. The sooner the better. Those 12 and under may be able to play at View Ridge as they have offered up an invite for Wedgwood kids to play there this year, but have limited space. If we don’t have enough interest with our 12 and ups they may be potentially able to play there as well.

Guests

No change with regard to guests this week. We will continue with the following:

Currently full and senior members may bring children and grandchildren as guests. Houseguests (people staying in your home from out of town) are also permitted. We ask for all other situations that each family only bring a maximum of 2 guests per visit.

Teen Swim

On Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 7pm to close, teens may bring in up to two guests for $5 each. These guests do not count against the guest allotment.

Home Meets

We have another home meet next Tuesday, July 13th, and then another on Thursday, July 22nd. The pool will only be open for Adult Laps (6 lanes) from 1:15-3:15 on home meet days. There will not be Open Swim time during this time.

Aerobics

Aerobics has been popular this year and we are adding Tuesday and Thursday into the mix starting next week as well. The time will be the same, so Monday – Friday from 8:15-9:00am. Please note that once swim team is over in early August we will be pushing the Tuesday and Thursday classes to a later start time of 12:15pm.

We will likely continue to use the FunFangle reservation system for Aerobics for the remainder of the season as well as keeping this as a members only activity.

  • You will need to use your same funfangle log in as you used for pool reservations back in May and early June. (if you have not made a funfangle account yet, email wwlessoncoordinator@gmail.com for the sign-up link and instructions)

Hello July!

From the Manager
A huge thank you to all of the Wedgwood community! Your continued patience has been very appreciated. The state department of health has now lifted most of the restrictions for water recreation facilities! Our plan is to try to balance these new reopening guidelines while continuing to keep everyone as safe as possible and providing as much access as possible to our pool members.

Capacity
We are going to proceed in steps just as we have been, first we are starting by raising both of our in the water and on the deck capacities back to pre-pandemic levels. It would now take an extremely rare combination of events to reach a capacity where we would have to turn people away, or ask people to get out of the pool.

Guests
In an effort to mitigate the anticipated increase in demand and continue with keeping safety at the forefront, we will slowly ramp up guest access to the pool in phases.

Currently full and senior members may bring children and grandchildren as guests. Houseguests (people staying in your home from out of town) are also permitted. Beginning on Friday, July 2nd we will expand guest access allowing each family to bring a maximum of 2 guests per visit. Once we see how this goes we will revisit and determine when the number of guests per visit may be increased further.

One thing to be aware of is that if we do end up having unusually hot weather return, 90+ degrees, we may institute a temporary no guests period for a day or two just as we have done in prior years when this sort of situation has occurred.

Masking
The state has released new guidance on mask wearing and because the pool is an area where children are present or expected to be present, we will continue to ask the following

·    Regardless of your current vaccination status everyone should continue to wear a mask while inside the building

·    Individuals over the age of 5 not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask throughout the facility both indoors as well as outdoors, except when in the pool and/or shower, or eating.

We will continue to monitor state and local governing agencies and will update our policy to reflect any future changes. The most current masking guidelines can be found here.

Distancing
Increasing capacity at the pool will undoubtedly mean more people, and that will sometimes mean less space between individuals. We do ask that you be mindful of your physical proximity to others while in the facility. Not everyone is at the same comfort level with being close to each other, so we will rely on you to help keep the swimming experience as enjoyable as possible for everyone.

If you are looking for times where there are typically less people, we recommend coming during Family Swim, weekdays from 5:30-7pm, Open Swim weekdays between 1:15-3:15pm, or on weekends either during Open Swim for either the first or last hour. You certainly may continue to call the pool before you come as well just to check. The number again is 206-523-8211.

Home Meets
Just a reminder that we host our first home meet this coming Thursday, July 1st and then our second one next Tuesday. The pool will only be open for Adult Laps (6 lanes) from 1:15-3:15 on home meet days. There will not be Open Swim time during this time.

Swim Lessons Update
Member registration for session 2 of lessons will be on Tuesday, July 6th at 9:45am. We will begin passing out numbers at 9:15am. If you are not able to make it for in-person registration or have any questions about registration, email Julie at: wwlessoncoordinator@gmail.com
We have made a few changes to lessons for session 2. We are able to offer preschool 1 and preschool 2 classes! We have also adjusted the lesson times slightly to allow for 4 class times instead of 3. The updated swim class times are: 10:50-11:20am, 11:20-11:50am, 12:00-12:30pm, 12:30-1:00pm.

Aerobics
Because of the area of the pool available during aerobics, we will continue to use the FunFangle reservation system. Additionally, for the time being, we will only be allowing members to participate. We will be evaluating the usage and numbers of participants and will add additional spaces if possible.

  • Cost: $5.00 per class.

    • You will pay when you make a reservation on funfangle.

    • We are not doing summer passes this year

  • Reservations: You will need to make a reservation through funfangle for water aerobics.

    • You will use your same funfangle log in as you used for pool reservations (if you have not made a funfangle account yet, email wwlessoncoordinator@gmail.com for the sign-up link and instructions)

    • Reservations for the first week of water aerobics will be available on Saturday, June 26th at 10:00am

    • Once reservations are live, you will be able to see reservations 7 days in advance

  • Rolling reservations: We will be using rolling reservations for water aerobics.

    • This means that you can always have 1 water aerobics reservation at a time. Once you have used a reservation, then you can sign up for another.

    •  For example, if you have a reservation for Monday water aerobics, then Monday at 9:01am you could sign up for another class.

  • “Day of” reservations: The limits on reservations will be lifted 12 hours prior to the class.

    • For example, at 8:15pm on a sunday you could sign up for monday’s class, even if you already have a reservation for wednesday.

    • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you do not already have a reservation made, when you sign up for a “day of” reservation, that will count as your 1 reservation. You will not be able to make another reservation until the class you reserved is over.

  • Cancellations: You can cancel your water aerobics reservation through funfangle

    • You will be refunded for the class when you cancel

    • Please CANCEL if you cannot attend a class, even if it is a last minute change, as this will allow someone to take your spot!

  • Questions or issues with funfangle: Contact Julie Lockhart wwlessoncoordinator@gmail.com

It’s time to enjoy the rest of this summer, let’s just hope it will be a little cooler from here on out.

Holy Hot Stuff

From the Manager

The next few days are shaping up to be just a little on the hot side. Thus far the Wedgwood pool community has helped us stay within our currently allowed capacity and I want to say thank you for helping us make this transition work. Please just keep doing what you’ve been doping and hopefully we will be able to continue to accommodate all that want to come for a swim. The intense heat over the next several days will really test our community. As a reminder, our current pool capacity in phase 3 is as follows:

  • In the water capacity 62 – Reach maximum, no swimmers can enter the pool until other swimmers exit the water.

  • In the facility capacity 90 – Reach maximum, only allow members to enter the facility once other members leave.

  • Prime time typically 3-7pm

  • Pool phone: 206-523-8211

The pool temperature will be a bit abnormal during this upcoming heat wave but we are going to do our best to keep the pool as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. To prepare, Friday morning we will be shutting the pool boilers down. Now this doesn’t mean the pool will be cold, but if you swim earlier in the day following Friday, it is very likely that the pool will feel cooler than normal. If we weren’t proactive with pool temperature, the pool would quickly become too warm by the afternoon and really wouldn’t offer much relief to anyone. During the heatwave, we’ll be on a rollercoaster ride with the pool temp as we slowly gain heat during the day and likely not lose all of that heat overnight. Despite our attempts to keep things comfortable I do believe that by late Sunday and likely later in the day on Monday as well, the pool will indeed feel like a bathtub regardless of these proactive steps. Still, a comfy 89 degree pool might  feel a bit okay in 100 degree heat.

A couple more things, if you come for a swim please remember to take a cleansing shower before you get into the pool. Our water quality starts with this one simple step. It really does make a difference in the clarity of the water as well as the amount of chemicals that we use. Thank you for doing your part in helping us keep our water as clean as possible.

Please also remember to keep yourself well hydrated, and be careful with your bare feet on the pool deck. It will get very, very hot!

Where are we with Guests?

At this time both our full and senior members may bring their children and grandchildren to the pool but because our pool capacity is still limited, I think it’s best to get through this heatwave before we expand guest policies any further.

Stay cool! -Raab

Ready or Not…

Here we are on the cusp of a whole new, old way, of visiting the pool and what do you know, summer is knocking at the door!

While we make the shift to our full time summer schedule this weekend we’re likely to still be in phase 3 for a little bit longer so we will still need to monitor how many people are in the pool at one time. The current weather forecast may test that limit. What is the maximum occupancy? That’s an interesting question and has been much discussed and debated, but the number that we arrived at was 62.5, which is exactly half of our pre-pandemic in the water pool capacity. We’re going to round that number down by half a person, and without guests, I’m feeling pretty good about the capacity on most days, but the new found freedom to come down anytime without a reservation, along with the really nice weather all at once… we just want you to be ready for what will happen if we do reach capacity.

If our capacity in the pool is 62, we know that we can accommodate more people on the grass and deck as well. We have determined that allowing 90 people into the facility at any one time will allow us to stay under our actual in-water capacity, with very rarely having to turn people away.

Now there may be times when we will push close to these limits or even get to the point where we reach maximum capacity in the water (62 swimmers). In these instances, we will make an announcement and let anyone on the deck know that no other swimmers can enter the pool until other swimmers exit the water. If we reach our capacity for the facility (90 people), we will need to close the doors and only allow members to enter the facility once other members leave. We hope that if either of these situations occur, we can count on the membership to consider everyone’s ability to enjoy the pool. We need members to consider making room for others if they have already been swimming and enjoying the facility for a few hours. We will all get through this together and that is one of the best aspects of this community. We take care of each other.

We ask that over the next several days that you plan accordingly as well. There will be times, let’s call it prime time, from about 3-7pm, where the facility will likely be the most crowded. If you are able to plan your day around those hours it would be very helpful. We know that the first and last couple of hours at the pool are typically the slowest and it would be nice to spread out pool usage. One other thing, if it’s particularly hot weather, and it’s prime time, you may want to call the pool to check and see what the numbers look like prior to coming down, the number is 206-523-8211.

  • In the water capacity 62 – Reach maximum, no swimmers can enter the pool until other swimmers exit the water.

  • In the facility capacity 90 – Reach maximum, only allow members to enter the facility once other members leave.

  • Prime time typically 3-7pm

  • Pool phone: 206-523-08211

Thank you for your continued support and understanding, we’re almost to the point where we can just not worry about any of this anymore.

Checking In
Starting Saturday we will be reverting to our old sign-in system. We will have hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available next to the keyboard. If you are comfortable signing yourself in, please feel free to do so. If you would like a staff member to do it for you, we are happy to assist.

Remember that each one of you has been manually entered into the system, or at least that was our goal. Every year we have a few glitches with names in the system and I suspect that will again be the case. Sometimes it is a data entry issue, a typo. Other times it’s the Rob, Bob, Robert or Jennifer, Jenny type of issue.  Keep in mind that our system only recognizes a name exactly how it was entered, so whatever you provided us with when you joined the pool is what is in the system.  If you cannot remember if you were a Mike or a Michael, we do have a book on file where we have all the names listed and can look it up.  Names can also be changed, please just leave a note with the desired changes along with the family name that the membership is under.  We’ll make the change as soon as possible.

Masking up and Distancing
For the time being we ask that you continue to wear a mask while inside any part of the building and to continue to maintain your social distance between yourself and others on the deck and in the pool regardless of your vaccination status and be aware that many in our community are not yet eligible for their vaccinations.

Locker Rooms/Showers
The locker rooms and lockers are open however capacity will remain limited to 5 people until our current guidelines change. Bathrooms are open to all. Some showers are now open inside and are for fully vaccinated individuals. Note: Swim team participants should not be using the locker rooms for anything other than using the bathroom and/or washing hands.

Guests
Not just yet. When that time comes we will likely start with house guests, which would be the people that are actually visiting and staying with you at your home. After that we may do something where guests would be permitted during non-peak, non-prime time periods.

Aerobics
It’s looking like we will get our water aerobics up and running again in early July. Look for more information on that soon.

Adult Team
At this time there has not been a determination as to whether there will be an adult meet this year. While our adult team proved to be very popular in the past, we’re also not sure about cramming 8 or 9 swimmers into lanes just yet. For the time being we have decided the most prudent use of what was the adult team practice slot would be to utilize that time for more adult lap swimming opportunities. Look for adult laps Monday – Thursday from 8-9pm.

BBQ’s, Picnic Tables…
We are ready to go with the BBQ’s and picnic tables. There are several of both spread out on the upper deck with one more additional of each on the “south beach”. These are available on a first come first serve basis. We ask that food and eating remain either on the upper deck and/or on the grass. This would include not just eating meals but snacking as well. The multi-purpose room will remain closed.

Please also remember that we don’t allow glass containers in the facility and that we are a “dry” club, alcohol is not permitted.

Sharing those Lanes
Time for a refresher on lap swimming! We are now at a point where you will likely be sharing a lane with more than one person. We will be labeling the lanes as slow, medium and fast, and we have given a lot of thought as to how to go about this when we have 6 lanes in the pool.

Upon your first visit to the pool for an adult lap swim or early morning laps you will find lanes 1 and 2 both labeled as “slow”, 3 and 4 as “medium” and 5 and 6 as “fast”. Think of it as the lane number increases so does the speed. Lane 1 would be the slowest lane and lane 6 the fastest. Those are the easiest designations. It gets trickier in lanes 2 through 5. Keep in mind though that these are all relative speeds. Again, lap swimming is an activity where we are counting on the membership to be thoughtful and considerate so that everyone can exercise and stay safe. If you find yourself getting passed by multiple swimmers, consider moving to a slower lane. If you find yourself passing several swimmers, consider moving to a faster lane.

  • Swim counterclockwise, staying to the right of the center of the line.

  • Turn in the middle of the lane at the wall and then move to the right.

  • Make sure you are in the correct lane.

  • If you are lapping people in the slower lane, consider moving to the faster lane.

  • If you are being lapped in the faster lane, consider moving to the slower lane.

  • Tap the toes of the swimmer in front of you if you would like to pass that person.

  • Understand that a toe tap is okay and allow that swimmer to move ahead of you.

  • If your toes have been tapped, stop at the wall and let that person pass.  If you are the tapper, make sure there is a large gap between you and the next swimmer.  Sometimes people can only go as fast as the person in front of them.

  • Leave the appropriate space between you and the swimmer in front of you, don’t push off the wall right before someone turns and don’t swim right on heels of others.

  • If you must pull over or sit out a lap, move to the right side of the lane on the wall into the corner, so that you are out of the way of swimmers turning.

  • Be aware where others are doing in your lane.

See you at the pool! -Raab

What’s happening… June 9th edition

I may sound like a broken record but I want to again thank all of you for hanging in there. Your continued patience is really appreciated.

We’re Batting 1000!

I am happy to share that the entire Wedgwood Pool staff is 100% vaccinated!

Reservations Ending 6/18

We expect that guidelines from the state will be a moving target over the next couple of weeks but as we wait to see what those may entail, we feel we’re ready to start moving further along with our return to more normal operations within the currently published phase 3 guidelines.

Starting on Saturday, June 19th we will no longer be using the reservations system for booking swims. We will revert back to our pre-pandemic schedule. This means you will just be able to come on down to the pool. Our hope is that as we head into our full-time summer schedule there will be enough hours in the day where the pool shouldn’t get too crowded, but we also need to be prepared for that too. So, while we gain a bit of normalcy and the spontaneity of just dropping in, there is also the possibility that on particularly hot and sunny days we may get kind of crowded. While we don’t think that’s likely to happen all that frequently, we’re not completely sure that it won’t. If that does end up being the case, we may need to implement some sort of system so that everyone will be able to enjoy themselves. Perhaps first in first out, or asking people to limit their pool time during high periods of usage. We’re still figuring this out.

Not having reservations will also make for a very different lap swimming experience. Sharing lanes as we did prior to COVID will be the norm. Look for a refresher on lap lane etiquette next week.

Here’s a link to our calendar and schedule. Please note that the published schedule is subject to change.  http://wwpool.org/build2014/calendar/

  • We still will not be allowing guests, but will monitor and revisit down the road.

  • Bathroom, locker room, and shower policies will remain the same for now.

  • Please continue to wear a mask when you are inside the building. Thank you.

More details to come!

Cancelling Swims

We know that sometimes things happen and plans change. It is very unfortunate though when we have no shows. Until we no longer are using reservations, please remember to cancel your swims!

Sad News

On May 30th,  longtime member Dave Newton passed away. There will be a memorial later this summer or early fall and when I know more I will pass that information along. He will truly be missed.

Group Swim Lessons – Last Call

If you are interested in getting your kid(s) signed up for the first session of lessons you should do so no later than this Friday! On Saturday morning we will open up our registration to non-members and we expect our program will fill up.  Questions? Email Julie at: wwlessoncoordinator@gmail.com

The Wedgwood Internship

The internship was started in 2013 as a way to provide both training and experience for individuals interested in learning about working at Wedgwood Swim Pool. However, we believe that the skills and competencies learned can be applied to numerous employment opportunities beyond Wedgwood Swim Pool.

Interns will have a variety of opportunities and experiences to assist staff during shifts or events:

●  Internship Meetings: opportunities to learn practical skills from Wedgwood Staff Members, to ask questions about the specifics of working at Wedgwood Swim Pool and receive training similar to the Wedgwood Staff

●  Online learning: access to presentations, videos and training materials used to prepare Wedgwood lifeguards and instructors

●  Job Shadowing: gain experience while volunteering with Wedgwood Staff members during:

o   Swim Lessons, Lifeguarding, and Maintenance

o   NOTE: Volunteering for lessons can be used for community service hour requirements.

o   During all experiences, interns will be assisting certified employees of Wedgwood Swim Pool. They will never have the sole responsibility of providing instruction or supervision as an intern.

If you are interested in participating, please complete and sign the attached form and return it to Wedgwood Swim Pool and ask the staff to place the form in Chris Matsumoto’s box or scan and email to chris.mats@gmail.com by 6/28/21.

Sunday Night Update

Important Schedule/Funfangle Updates:

  • Current Schedule

To view our current schedule (which ends May 30th) go to: May 24th-May 30th Schedule)

  • New Schedules

The schedule for Memorial day (May 31st) will be open for reservations on Monday, May 24th at 10:00am: May 31st/Memorial Day schedule

The schedule for June 1st-June 18th will be open for reservation on Tuesday, May 25th at 6:30am: June 1st-18th schedule Starting June 1st, we will be adding Early Morning Lap Swim to the mix, 6-6:55am, Monday through Friday. Also beginning on June 1st, 8 & Under and 9-10 swim practice will be up and running so we will be adjusting the age limit of the Open Lap Swim to ages 14 and up

  • Important Notes about scheduling restrictions:

A “quirk” of the reservation system we are using is how we can input the schedule. We had to create separate “activities” for the May 15th-30th, May 31st, and June 1st-18th schedules. Because of this “quirk” there will be a period of time (May 23rd-May 31st) where you will be able to reserve more than one of each activity, however we ask that you self-monitor and only have one reservation per swim type just as if the system restrictions were in place (i.e., 1 adult lap swim, 1 open lap swim, and 1 open family swim). (This does not include “day of” swims). After June 1st, the system will revert back to allowing 1 swim per swim type to be reserved, so we will be operating on the honor system for a while.

You will also note when you go to the reservations page you will see the Adult Lap swim, Open Lap swim and Open family swim listed 3 times. The date will be included in the title for the Memorial day and June 1st-18th schedules. (see example below)

Another Update!

I want to continue to thank you for your patience as we navigate the start to this season. We have seen unprecedented demand for lap swimming and I wanted to let you know that we’ve been working to add additional Adult Lap Swims into the schedule. I want to give big shout out to the staff for their flexibility in making this happen.

Additional swims should start to show up tonight (Thursday, May 20th) in Funfangle.

We’re doing our best, but even with these additions we know we may not be able to meet the demand.
