Well here we are. It’s the end of August, the kids will be starting school, as will their teachers, and what do you know, summer is back in full swing for this last full week of the swim season. Come and get it now because in less than 3 weeks you’ll wished you had!
Please note that with no lessons this week the pool will be opening at noon Monday-Friday. Also note that this Friday will be the last day that the pool will remain open until 9pm. And sad but true, next week pool hours will start to decrease even more as we make the switch to our shoulder season schedule. September 15th will be our final day of operations.
I did mention this last week and but I will say it again. As we roll into September we have a very limited number of staff available. Sometimes it can still be pretty nice weatherwise and with more limited pool hours this sometimes can create unusually high numbers of people turning out to use the pool. I am trying to avoid a situation where we come up short staffed, and one thing that we have done in the past that has seemed to help with keeping things manageable has been to not schedule parties, and/or have the pool be open for members only for parts of September. We are planning on doing some of this again for the last couple of weeks of operations, so if you were thinking about bringing guests, and/or having a party, now is the time to do it. Please don’t wait until September! More schedule specifics can be found on the pool calendar.
Enjoy!
