water polo

The Water Polo Schedule can be found here.  Note: Scroll down to find the calendar toward the bottom of the page.

Water Polo at Wedgwood is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 to 18 who love to play in the water. Think soccer with your hands in deep water! The summer water polo league is very low-key, lots of fun and a great introduction to the fast-paced sport.

Eli D’albora will again be the head coach, supported by some amazing experienced and knowledgeable assistant coaches. And while Eli will be away for the first week of the season we are very fortunate to have our former head coach, Nathan Ives returning to fill in.

Unlike swim team, non-members also may join so feel free to recruit your friends! The water polo game season is quick and will be packed between August 2nd -31st. Practices will be after the summer swim league season finishes, so starting August 2nd.

Sand Point Country Club (SPCC) players:

SPCC will have their own 14 and under teams again this year. SPCC players who are 15 & over are still welcome to play at Wedgwood this summer due to insufficient numbers to field SPCC teams.

We will attempt to keep information flowing this season so please let me know if you have questions or would like other email addresses added to the distribution list. Thanks and … go WW/SPCC water polo!
