Last week was pretty darn crazy and I’m running a little behind in getting this out. Better late than never. In retrospect, my ramblings last week sadly turned out to be pretty prophetic. I don’t want to jinx myself again so I’m going to stay away from talking about anything that can potentially close the pool down.
With the exception of our last dual home meet tomorrow, we have nothing extraordinary going on until July 30th, when we will host Boys Prelims. So enjoy this long stretch of unadulterated pool time and let’s hope we get some fantastic weather to go along with it.
Speaking of Boys Prelims, we’re going to need a lot of extra help in pulling this meet off. Look for volunteer sign ups soon in the pool lobby, and more information in my next email as well.
See you at the pool.

Lost and Found
The lost and found is already starting to grow again. At this point we plan on purging before Boys Prelims. Please check it before then, and we’ll put it out in the pool lobby a few days just prior so we can then start this process all over again.
Driving and Parking
During the meet last week on Tuesday one of our neighbors up the hill on 28th had their car, which was parked on the street, hit, not once, but twice. No note, no nothing.
As you are all well aware, traffic can get pretty crazy coming to and from the pool, especially at swim meets, but also during the morning as well. Our club is located in the heart of a residential neighborhood where many kids are living, playing, out and about. Let’s help keep them safe and please drive slowly!
Also remember to park only where it’s legal to do so. Don’t block driveways and pay attention to parking signs. If you don’t, you run the risk of being ticketed or towed.
Thank you for being neighborly!
Water Polo
Pre-season water polo clinics will continue on Fridays through August 2nd, 12:00-12:45 after lessons. Clinics are just $5 each for both members and non-members. Our regular season begins in August, but feel free to try out the sport without committing to the regular season. Participants must be at least 7 years old and be able to strongly pass the swim test.
